The MA is a 72 credit hour program designed to be completed in residence or via a hybrid model, in 2 years or more. The MA emphasises Confessional, Exegetical, Systematic, Historical, and Language courses to provide well-balanced training in confessional theology.
The MA is a graduate course and requires that all prior students have a Bachelors degree or equivalent to enroll. This ensures that this program is as rigorous as possible, building on prior educational skills in writing and research that the students ought to have.
Students are able to take the MA either full or part-time. This makes the course possible for students in need of flexible study hours. The four yearly in-person courses available with IRBS UK allow part-time students to handle the majority of their MA studies in the classroom, instead of online.
The MA offers students an opportunity to be versed in the various loci of theology, equipping them with the knowledge and understanding to engage in the most challenging areas of theological thought. Confessional, Exegetical, Systematic, Historical, and Language courses are emphasised to provide well-balanced training in confessional theology.
