We partner with churches to prepare godly men for Gospel ministry. This is done through the teaching of God’s inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word, tied together with hands-on practice in the local church.
In our day of compromise and pragmatism, we seek to train ministers in a knowledge of the whole counsel of God. Subscription to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1677/89) helps us accomplish this, providing guardrails and direction for our teachers, courses, community, assignments and standards.
Due to our confessional commitments, we leave no aspects of theology or ministry untouched. With courses on topics from Eschatology and Pastoral Counselling to Christology and Angelology, our students are trained to be well-prepared for the many demands of Gospel service.
IRBS UK exists to prepare servants of Christ's Church. Consequently, partnership with local churches is integral to the theological training of our students. Our students are trained by faithful pastor-theologians with years of service to the Church. We partner with churches in our Church Partner Scheme to work alongside them, provide more affordable training and be accountable to them.
Our connection to International Reformed Baptist Seminary in Mansfield, TX gives our degree programs, faculty and ethos a global reach. Students are encouraged to attend graduation in the United States with other international graduates, building relationships between Confessional Baptists throughout the world.
Our faculty members are renowned scholars who are committed to excellence in teaching and research. They are passionate about equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to serve God effectively.
Students have the capability to study our courses online, alongside courses in-person at our facility in North Manchester. Students with us are given some flexibility in the speed and medium by which they receive their training, giving them opportunity to receive a top-shelf theological education whilst maintaining a healthy family and church life.
We uphold the highest academic standards and desire to see students excel in the knowledge and skills of pastoral ministry in their time with us. Academic excellence is fundamental to our degrees, ensured by our PhD qualified faculty and their demanding course assignments.
Students can study both full or part-time with IRBS UK in pursuit of a variety of degrees. This makes study by those already in the ministry practically possible, alongside those that maintain part or full-time employment whilst they study.
We offer affordable fees which undercut those of alternative seminaries, incentivising churches and individuals to choose International Reformed Baptist Seminary as their seminary of choice. Students that study with our Church Partnership Scheme can take For-Credit courses for the sum of £80 a course, making our rigorous degrees available for all.
